Key Features
Engine
Motor sizing options to match the operator 90% usage needs thereby avoiding excessive motor sizes that cost more, use more fuel and being heavier, make it harder on the operator.
Diesel option for operators who need this (site requirements) or who already have diesel machines and don’t want to complicate the resources adding a petrol machine.
Kohler engines well know to and widely supported by engineering and maintenance workshops all over NZ.
Steering
Steering of the machine by the operator is much easier due to the use of the differential in the transmission and reduced weight.
The 3-position handles make it easy to control.
Others have power steering additions that take power from the motor, raise cost and maintenance.
Level Ride System
Richmond’s proven patented pivoting front axle system keeps the blade vertical and reduces jamming and damage to the blade. The pivoting axle follows the contour of the road and bumps/hollows while keeping the blade vertical
Economy /efficiency
Lower fuel consumption and maintenance costs with right-sized engines that meet 90% of the operational tasks while also being able to cope with the few larger tasks.
Removable flip front blade guards
3 sizes provided for easy 15 second change to match the blade size in operation. No bolts to undo. Quick detach makes it much easier and quicker fitting/changing the blades. Makes it easier see where you are tracking.
Built in lifting eyes
Built in lifting eye hooks positioned for balanced lift
Maneouvering
The drive release allows the rear wheels to free-run and with the differential, the machine is easy to manoeuvre manually without the need to run the motor.
